I enjoyed listening to this podcast and learning about the different categories of participation on the web. What I found particularly interesting was your analysis about the difference between traditional libraries and what we’ve got on the web. The data that was revealed in the report with podcasting and blogging shows that people are using the web as a place not only to browse, but a place where one can create and participate with their own information. Agreed - this is true participation and a tremendous improvement from traditional libraries. Thanks!

Beyond the timeliness of the topic and the format in which it is delivered, I love that the website can be translated by simply clicking your preferred language. Imagine being able to conduct or deliver your content without worrying about a language barrier. Star Trek's Universal Translator - here we come!

Thanks for the positive feedback. We do try to cover a wide range of topics that would be of interest to people in education at all grade levels, roles and also technology proficiencies.
Yes the $100 laptop is a terrific project that demonstrates technology can be used for great humanitarian and educational purposes.

I really enjoyed the presentation for the K-12 teachers by Dr. Todd. I think she made podcasting with students seem less daunting and more accessible. I know it's something I would love to learn more about and do with my students in the future. She made it seem like podcasting with students was actually possible, especially that she was doing it with middle school students, who can sometimes be difficult to work with.
