You are invited to join Dr. Kathleen P. King, professor of education at Fordham University and CEO of TELLC,  for her newest webinar series. This exclusive series focuses on the need for faculty to reflect on their current positions and ramp up their skills and strategies for success in the tenure process (now and in the future). The Faculty Mentoring Webinar Series on June 18, 2009 from 11am-12pm EST will be a very small group to afford specific discussion about your needs, and will share vital, models, strategies and resources from this award-winning expert in the adult and higher education fields.

Participation in the 1 hour "Faculty Ramp Up Time: Keys to Faculty Success" session is open to all college and university faculty members, and professionals seeking careers in academia. About Dr. Kathleen (Kathy) King

Kathleen P. King, Ed.D. is President and CEO of Transformation Education, LLC. She is also a Professor of Education at Fordham University and former director of the university’s RETC Center for Professional Development. Dr. King has extensive experience designing multi-partner projects, innovative programs, distance learning, staff development and educational technology integration plans across grades and content levels k-12, adult education, training, higher education, and corporate organizations and settings.

Dr. King is recognized for her unique expertise in combining her knowledge of adult education with technology, online learning, digital media and publications for faculty and staff development, and educational innovations. Dr. King makes numerous invited keynotes and refereed presentations each year at local, national, and international conferences on the topics of distance education, new media in education, adult learning and training, faculty development, transformative learning, and instructional technology.

Dr. King has authored seventeen books (as of 2009) recently including,

In addition, King is founding editor of the adult education journal, Perspectives; The New York Journal of Adult Learning. Kathy received her Ed.D. from Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania. She also has a M.Ed. in Adult Education from Widener, a M.A. from Columbia International, Columbia, SC and a B.A. from Brown University, Providence, RI.



Additional Sessions may be held as time permits in the summer.
However, Dr. King has a heavy speaking schedule and cannot release firm dates far in advance. Future topics will span a variety of key areas for faculty in higher and k-12 education.
