The deadline is quickly approaching to submit nominations for the 2009 Teacher of the Year Award. The award has been increased to $7,500 and also includes a scholarship and travel expenses to the 2009 National Conference on Family Literacy in Orlando, Florida.

The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, December 5, 2008.

Verizon Tech Savvy Awards

The Verizon Tech Savvy Awards offer four regional awards of $5,000 and a national award of $25,000.
